The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this.

Einstein was referring to the Eighteenth Amendment of the United States' Constitution, the prohibition of alcohol.

On December 5th 1933, prohibition was repealed by the enactment of the Twenty-First Amendment. Why is the country not celebrating? Americans should treat December 5th as a holiday only second to the 4th of July.

The only way we can get some of our freedoms back is by repealing unjust laws. We have so many mindless, freedom draining laws still currently active. Lets make December 5th "Repeal Day" and fight for the repeal of all the stupid laws enacted by mindless politicians, that stand in the way of America, "the land of the free."
